Think Outside the Box: MBA Finance Starts with 29 Participants from 20 Countries

The extra-occupational, internationally oriented MBA Finance programme at THI's Campus for Continuing Education started for the first time in the winter semester 24/25. The continuing education Master's programme aims to impart business management knowledge focusing on finance, controlling, and accounting as well as management and leadership skills.

Students from all over the world are responding well to the new degree program (symbolic image: THI).

The pilot programme was developed for SAP SE, which was able to recruit employees from all regions with different time zones for the five-semester English-language Master's programme. The special feature of the programme is the customised time model, which was developed especially for SAP. The lectures are lunchbox sessions, supplemented by one block date per module.

The programme is designed to prepare students for global careers in international companies. Thanks to the short online sessions combined with a high proportion of self-study, which is intensively supported by the lecturers, it can also be studied from abroad and from other time zones. This ensures that participants can easily integrate the virtual lectures into their everyday working lives.

In addition to information about the university and the study programme, students were able to get to know each other and network at the start of their studies using virtual group work and exchange information about their expectations, academic background or personal preferences and hobbies.

Enjoy your studies and good luck!
