The 24-year-old, who has just completed his Bachelor's degree in Digital Business at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI), traveled to the Paralympics with TEAM D and came third with his team.

Lukas Gloßner has always been good at balancing professional sport and his studies: ‘It was all about prioritizing the right things in the important phases. To be able to play sports at this level, it was necessary to study beyond the standard period of study. But thanks to the coronavirus semesters, that wasn't a problem.’ He continues: ‘I was able to learn a lot during my studies, which took me in an interesting direction professionally and allowed me to meet lots of great people. The opportunity to study abroad for a semester was also particularly valuable for me.’

Lukas Gloßner already knows what he wants to do next. During his upcoming Master's program, basketball will of course not be neglected. ‘Sport plays a major role and will continue to do so in the coming years,’ he says. Only then does he want to concentrate fully on his professional career.
