The Startup Teens Bavaria Tour has made a stop in Ingolstadt

The non-profit initiative organized an ideas workshop for school pupils in cooperation with Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences.

The young people learned more about the world of start-ups and developed their initial business ideas in an interactive workshop based on their problems. "Generation Z places an incredible amount of value on purpose and sustainability in what they do. Together, we develop business ideas for a future worth living. Developing concrete solutions together is much more inspiring than just demonstrating," said Corinna Tappe, Head of Bavaria at Startup Teens.

The participants considered entrepreneurial concepts, particularly in the areas of fashion, finance, and nutrition. "The start-up spirit takes place wherever support and funding can be found. This is particularly important for young people. Empowering them and enabling them to experience entrepreneurship is the first step toward future competitiveness and innovation. That is why we are working together with Startup Teens to inspire our young people and prepare them for the regional labor market, the local economy, and their professional future," emphasized Sabine Tauschek, Education Coordinator of the Center of Entrepreneurship at THI.

In addition to Startup Teens, Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences also offers the opportunity to accompany young founders on their way to becoming a start-up within the Centre of Entrepreneurship. Interested school pupils and students with a business idea are specifically encouraged and supported. Felix Fröhling gave a real insight into the life of a founder. Together with four other people, Fröhling founded the start-up "thireks", which aims to revolutionize autonomous driving.

The Bavaria Tour made stops at 14 other locations across Bavaria and is the perfect preparation for the Bavaria Challenge 2024, a competition in which young people can develop their ideas into a business model and submit them to Startup Teens by 18 March 2024. The aim is to awaken the entrepreneurial spirit in young people and promote problem-solving skills. Pupils aged 14 to 19 who attend a school in Bavaria are eligible to take part.
