As part of the THI Business School's Master's degree program “Marketing/Sales/Media”, students recently had the opportunity to learn from an experienced industry expert: Ingolf Meister, Head of Sales Management & Marketing at Krones AG, accepted lecturer Petra Scherer's invitation and gave a practical report in the “Strategic Sales Management” module.
Krones AG is a leading global manufacturer of machines and complete lines for filling and packaging technology and optimizes processes along the entire production and logistics chain with innovative solutions. With around 18,500 employees and a turnover of 4.78 billion euros, Krones is one of the most important players in the industry.
Mr. Meister provided exciting insights into the sales strategy and digital transformation at Krones. A central focus was the introduction of an advanced CRM system that enables targeted customer analysis and planning. Topics such as customer segmentation and proactive sales generated lively discussions and keen interest among the students.
