Admission

notices of admission and rejection can be expected as follows

Bachelor courses admission-limited (admission-process with Hochschulstart)

A few days after transformation of an offer of admission to actual admission (in the portal of Hochschulstart), applicants will receive the letter, or notification of admission in the PRIMUSS-application portal of the THI.

Letters of refusal and rejection will be published from Hochschulstart until end of August (for winter terms) or February (for summer terms).

Bachelor courses not admission-limited (admission-procedure without Hochschulstart)

Letters of admission and rejection can be expected as follows:

  • beginning to mid of February, when you applied for the summer term (starting 15th of March)
  • beginning to mid of August, when your applied for the winter term (starting 1st of October)

Bachelor courses higher semester

Because of the transfer and classification procedures letters of admission and rejection for applicants for the higher semester can be expected mid of September (for winter term) or mid to end of February (for summer term).

Master courses

Letters of admission and rejection can be expected as follows:

  • beginning to mid of February, when you applied for the summer term (starting 15th of March)
  • beginning to mid of August, when your applied for the winter term (starting 1st of October)

Sometimes for Master courses with aptitude test 1-2 additional weeks are necessary, as the aptitude test has to be performed after the end of the application period.

We are aware of the fact that getting letters of admission as early as possible is crucial for the VISA-processing of our international applicants. You can be assured that letters of admission are always provided as soon as possible. Please refrain from inquiring, as this unfortunately can't speed up the admission procedure.
